A high-frequency transformer is a static electromagnetic device that transforms voltage, current and impedance without changing the frequency. It is mainly used as high-frequency switching power supply transformer in high-frequency switching power supply, and also used as high-frequency inverter power supply transformer in high-frequency inverter power supply and high-frequency inverter welding machine.
According to the working frequency, it can be divided into several grades: 10kHz-50kHz, 50kHz-100kHz, 100kHz500kHz, 500kHz～1MHz, and above 10MHz.
The inductor is an element that can convert electrical energy into magnetic energy and store it. The structure of an inductor is similar to a transformer, but it has only one winding. The inductor has a certain inductance, it only hinders the change of current. If the inductor is in a state where no current is flowing, when the circuit is on, it will try to block current from flowing through it; if the inductor is in a state where current is flowing, and the circuit is off, it will try to maintain the current unchanged. Inductors are also called chokes, reactors, and dynamic reactors.
The Coil usually refers to a loop of wire winding. The most common coil applications are: motors, inductors, transformers and loop antennas. The coil in the circuit refers to the inductor. It is wound by wires one by one, and the wires are insulated from each other. The insulating tube can be hollow, iron-containing core or magnetic powder-containing core, which is called inductor.
The inductance can be divided into fixed inductance and variable inductance. Fixed inductance coil is referred to as inductance or coil.
