Prepare suitable scraper, and check whether it is damaged. If it's damaged, grind it or change a new one to prevent scratching the screen, and affecting the printing quality.

Check whether the screen is intact, and make sure that the screen is sealed around the pattern and text. We do everything to avoid ink leakage in the parts without text and pattern. Use damp cloth to gently remove dust on screen.

Adjust the appropriate gap between the screen and the substrate according to the features of the substrate.

Check whether the color and viscosity of the ink meet the requirements.

Determine the position of the substrate on printing table according to its size. Fix the auxiliary equipment.

Prepare the drying machine, and adjust the drying temperature in advance.

For workshops with high requirements of printing precision, you need air purification equipment when necessary to keep the workshop clean and tidy.

Temperature and humidity

Sometimes, the temperature and humidity change greatly, which has a large impact on printing accuracy, especially for multi-color overprinting. Therefore, the indoor humidity and temperature are required to be stable. Both of them should be adjusted appropriately according to seasonal changes to ensure accuracy.

Know the substrate well

Silkscreen printing has a very wide range of applications. There are many types of printing materials, and the shapes of the materials are also different. Before printing, it is necessary to choose appropriate inks, solvents, scrapers, etc. according to different requirements.

After silkscreen printing

After the first printing, if the screen is to be used for the second time, the residual ink on the screen must be cleaned to ensure that the mesh of the graphic is not clogged. Then the screen must be fully dried, and properly stored for the next use.

After silkscreen printing, if the screen is no longer used, and it is to be dumped, clean the ink around the screen frame and peel off the screen. Or peel off the screen at first, and then clean the screen frame. The screen frame can be prepared for the next use.

After silkscreen printing, when preparing for the next screen making, clean the residual ink first, and then remove the photosensitive film on the screen. Then clean it with water. After drying, it should be stored for the next screen making.
