Modern electronic products need to use membrane switches in a wider range, from household appliances, medical instruments, to industrial equipment, mechanical devices, instrumentation, and customers who need professional customized membrane panels. Because the membrane switches must be switched It has the characteristics of one-time sticking and cannot be reversed or pressed, especially for membrane switches with built-in metal dome.
Therefore, the adhesive level and skill of the adhesive will directly affect the quality of membrane panels and switches. What are the pasting steps and precautions for the adhesive of membrane switch?
JRPanel would like to summarize it for you as follows.
Adhesive pasting steps:
1. Make sure that the surface that the membrane switch needs to be attached to (the surface to be attached is required to be flat, rust-free, oil-free, and dust-free); if the surface has the above problems, it needs to be cleaned with petroleum ether or alcohol to ensure it is clean.
2. Compare the size (put the membrane switch panel on the adhesive to check whether the size is right), so as to find possible problems and errors before pasting, so that they can be corrected in time.
3. Then peel off the centrifugal paper at the bottom of the membrane switch about 10mm from the side.
4. Then put the membrane switch to the corresponding position to stick a part, and then slowly tear off the remaining centrifuge paper (if the angle cannot exceed 20 degrees), and then paste it to the corresponding position in turn, beyond the 20 degree angle. Otherwise it is easy to cause blistering.
5. During the pasting process, if the membrane switch with the release paper on the reverse side needs to be placed first, then the reverse side of the switch should be placed up to prevent it from sticking to other objects and affecting subsequent pasting.
Precautions:
1. The adhesive pasting cannot be repeated operations, it needs to be completed at one time;
2. The tearing angle cannot exceed 20 degrees;
3. When trying to press it, be sure to lay it flat on the table before pressing it. Do not hold it in the air and press it, otherwise it will affect the service life of the membrane switch.
