Among those acrylic products, panels are popular on electronic equipment. There is no need to go into details about the advantages of acrylic panels here. Today let's talk about production processes of acrylic panels.
First of all, for general acrylic panels, the size, thickness and shape can be determined according to your specific needs. Of course, if you are not sure, just ask the manufacturer to give you suggestions. Now I will directly tell you about the production processes of acrylic panels.
Cutting
Generally, after making sure of the size of the acrylic product based on the design, cut the material with the cutting machine. Generally, laser cutting and mechanical cutting are both good. The former is more accurate and does not waste material. Different acrylic sheets are used for cutting. They are usually protected with paper to prevent them from being scratched when moved.
Laser engraving
After cutting out the material, you can directly engrave it. Carry out preliminary engraving or cutting according to the designed pattern or graphics. Here, you must first pay attention to the ventilation of the laser engraving machine, control the temperature, and avoid acrylic sheet burning up.
Trimming
Generally, the acrylic sheets after cutting or engraving is rough, so it is necessary to trim the edges to ensure that it will not strain your hands. It makes the product smooth.
Polishing
Polishing is divided into diamond polishing, grinding wheel polishing, cloth wheel polishing and fire polishing. Diamond polishing requires a professional polishing machine. Grinding wheel polishing is a rough process. Generally, the final product must be polished with a cloth wheel. After cloth wheel polishing and waxing, the clear and transparent feeling of acrylic material will be restored. Fire polishing is generally used for burrs, which requires precise and rapid fire polishing. If it is too slow, the product will easily be burned.
Screen printing
There are currently three types of screen printing for acrylic products: single color, multi-color (four-color CNYK) and heat transfer printing. The text patterns or logos on the panels are mostly made by screen printing. Acrylic screen printing is to pad-print pictures or text at designated locations on already prepared acrylic products.
After going through the above processes, products can be packaged and finally deliver to customers. No production process is not important.
More about screen printing
Screen printing is a production process made by hand-engraving paint film or photochemical plate making on a screen frame of silk fabric. It uses photosensitive materials to produce screen printing plates for printing through photomechanical methods. Screen printing is no longer even limited to flat objects, but can also be printed on items of different shapes.
Screen printing can be done on acrylic sheets, but there are some things we should pay attention to. For example, when screen printing on acrylic, you should use suitable acrylic ink. When screen printing, it is best to bake it at 60 degrees for 30 minutes before. This is to allow the moisture on the bottom plate to evaporate.
