As common decorative material, acrylic is widely used in home furnishing, commercial and industrial products. Its good look and excellent transparency make acrylic indispensable in the production. However, to produce high-quality products, strict processing and quality control are required. Let's talk about the production process and quality control of acrylic product.
Production process
1. Design and planning
First, make design and plan according to your needs. We are talking about the size, shape, structure, etc. Designers need to take into account the actual use environment and needs of the product to ensure that everything is available.
2. Good raw material
Choose high-quality acrylic sheets as raw materials. Cut them according to design requirements. These sheets are directly related to the quality and appearance of final products. It is necessary that the raw materials are free of bubbles, impurities. They must have a smooth surface.
3. Processing technology
There are some methods of processing: cutting, grinding, drilling, bending, etc.. Cutting requires precise equipment and technology to ensure the flatness and smoothness of the cutting edge. Grinding can make the acrylic surface smoother and improve transparency. Drilling and bending require professional process technology and equipment.
4. Assembly and fixed components
Assemble and fix according to the design and plan. It ensures that the connection between the components is stable, and avoids damage to the acrylic during assembly.
5. Surface treatment
Finally, the acrylic is surface treated by methods such as painting and silkscreen printing to increase the beauty and personalization.
When silkscreen printing on acrylic products, if there is one color, you only need one screen. If there are two or more colors, you need two screens.
If you need printing of more colors and patterns, the screen fee and labor cost are not cheap. Therefore, when there are many colors, especially gradient colors, silkscreen printing is not the first choice.
After finishing the printing, if the ink is not dry, it cannot touch other things, so as not to have bad impact on silkscreen printing. Wait until the ink is completely dry before proceeding to the next step.
Quality control
1. Raw material
Before processing, inspect acrylic sheet for quality. We are talking about appearance, transparency, thickness and other things to ensure that the raw materials meet the processing requirements.
2. Process monitoring
During the processing, parameters such as temperature, tool status, cutting speed, etc. must be strictly controlled to ensure that the cutting and grinding meet the requirements, and avoid cracks or deformation on the acrylic surface due to improper operation.
3. Dimensional accuracy
Check dimensional accuracy on processed products to ensure that the dimensional error is within the allowable range to meet the design requirements.
4. Surface quality
Check the surface of product to eliminate possible defects such as bubbles, scratches, stains, etc.. It ensures that the product appearance is good.
5. Assembly
Inspect the connection parts during assembly to ensure that it is firm and reliable, and not prone to loosening or falling off.
Production process and quality control are crucial. You need everything good to produce acrylic with exquisite appearance and reliable quality.
