Dual-Piston Pressure & Vacuum Gauge

The Dual-Piston Pressure & Vacuum Gauge is a precision pressure calibration instrument that measures pressure based on the principle of hydrostatic force balance. Pressure is determined by balancing the fluid pressure acting on the effective piston area against the gravitational force of calibrated weights. The system achieves equilibrium through both a simple piston and a differential piston. It typically consists of two independent piston systems, dedicated calibrated weights, and a pressure calibrator.

Product Features

  • Equipped with two independent piston systems: one for vacuum measurement and one for positive pressure measurement, each supplied with its own set of calibrated weights.
  • Piston and cylinder are manufactured from tungsten carbide for exceptional hardness, wear resistance, and long-term stability.
  • LCD display provides a clear indication of piston operating position for more intuitive observation.
  • Motor-driven piston rotation improves efficiency while reducing manual effort.
  • Calibrated weights are compensated for pressure deformation coefficients and local gravitational acceleration to ensure high measurement accuracy.
  • Optional display functions include temperature, displacement, time, rotational speed, pressure, and other operating parameters.

Key Applications

Metrology Verification & Calibration

  • Used as a primary pressure standard for the verification and calibration of:
    • Precision pressure gauges with accuracy class 0.1 and below.
    • Vacuum gauges with accuracy class 0.25 and below.
    • Pressure transmitters and pressure sensors with accuracy class 0.5 and below.
